Thorough oral hygiene is difficult in the Braces wearers and they are more prone to dental problems like gingivitis, tartar, and demineralization. If left untreated these problems can lead to serious complications.

You should limit Food rich in sugar content as these foods can lead to plaque formation. Combination of sugar and plaque causes acid in the mouth, which can lead to white spots on the teeth, swollen gums, and decay.

Popcorn has tendency to get lodged in your gums underneath the bracket, which can severely irritate the gums. If you are having apples, carrots or meat just cut it in small pieces before eating so that they may be chewed well with the back molars.

Choose Braces friendly foods. Dairy products are rich in calcium and are an excellent choice for braces wearers, as dairy products are soft and can be chewed easily.

 Fruit are the necessary part of a healthy diet, fruits like Choose fruit such as blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries for days when your teeth are tender.

Grains are rich in fiber, iron, and many other nutrients that are essential for or our wellbeing. Vegetables are rich in minerals and vitamins. Cooking makes the vegetables soft and easy to consume.
