Viagra Can Cause Visual Problems in Those Having Genetic Tendency



Sildenafil or commonly called drug Viagra has been widely used to treat erectile Dysfunction like premature ejaculation and deficient erection. Some use it just like any other common medicine.

Very few people may be aware of the fact that Viagra can cause side effects as well and one of them is visual disturbance.

A new Research done suggests that long term use or higher doses of Viagra can hinder the enzyme activity responsible for transmission of light signals to the Brain from Retina of eyes. This reaction can cause blurred vision, reduced color vision and dark light sensitivity

Nevertheless this isn’t a common phenomenon. These visual changes are found in only those people who carry a mutant gene of the disease Retinitis Pigmentosa

 But it is definitely wise to keep in mind the side effects of this drug and then only use it and not to make a habit of the same.
