Overweight women may have low risk for Breast cancer with NSAIDs use

October is breast cancer awareness month. New research finding’s to prevent risk for breast cancer recurrence in women findings reveal ways to help women make lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of relapse.


What is the new research about NSAIDs Shows?
According to new research done between obese women fighting for Breast Cancer shows reduce chances of recurrence with regular use of NSAIDs.

The study observed between 440 overweight women of Breast Cancer. Women taking painkillers have less chances of recurrence as study revealed.

Average Body Mass Index (BMI) 30 and above are considered as obese. Scientist found 52% reduced rate for recurrence and delayed recurrence by 28th month if they were taking daily painkillers.

How could Painkillers (NSAIDs) help to prevent recurrence?

As we all know painkillers have anti inflammatory properties. Obese women who are on hormone therapy have worst response as obesity may induce inflammation. With the help of NSAIDs inflammation might be less and hormones therapy well tolerated amongst women.

Obesity is major cause for recurrence of Breast Cancer as it is an inflammatory condition. So daily painkillers help in reducing recurrence of breast cancerin obese women.

Preventive measures need to be taken to lessen the breast cancer chances in women .We have to adapt some lifestyle changes like more physical activity to lower the risk of recurrence.

As it is not possible to tell all women to exercise, but they can have daily painkiller tablet. Now we can prevent recurrence of breast cancer .
