Painless Injections For Those With Needle Phobia

The importance of vaccination is well known but is ignored because nobody wants to go through the pain the needle produces. Especially it hurts to see our children cry while vaccinating and so we happen to avoid many of them and administer only the mandatory ones.

Survey claims 1 person among every 10 people having ‘’needle phobia’’. It’s not only children who are afraid but it’s a terror to many adults as well.

But here comes good news. Very soon there is going to be a device that could make an injection prick painless. A recent study has been done by the department of Anesthesiology that the device adjusts vibration and pressure sufficient enough so that the signals of painful sensation do not reach the brain neurons.

It also produces warming effect that adds on its benefit. This is called the theory of ‘’gate control’’ for pain.

Well, now taking an injection shouldn’t be a night mare to anybody.
