Swine Flu Infection Continues



Amidst the New Year festivities, it was found that a 21 year old pregnant woman died from Swine flu attack. 2 days after it is now reported that 88 people in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been affected with deaths of 10 till date.


This is quite an alarming number. The national capital Delhi had 3 fresh cases till December taking the toll to 9 altogether.

The H1N1 Virus starts its hunt in the winters. Symptoms are throat irritation, respiratory illness and generalized malaise.

Union Health Minister J P Nadda has advised the public to approach nearby Government Hospital with good medical facilities if any such symptom experienced.

Swine Flu is now declared epidemic again. One way to resolve the issue would be vaccination against the virus.

People are scared and insecure at homes. There is a separate H1N1 screening unit formed in few hospitals looking at the rate of infection.
