Ebola survives in semen & breast milk for a long time

Ebola crisis a major outbreak killed more than 5500 people. The spread of the disease is mainly through the direct contact with the body fluids i.e. the saliva, feces, and the last but not the least semen. Ebola virus can survive for almost 90 days in seminal fluid.

A person is said to be completely treated with Ebola when his blood test along with his semen tests negative for the Ebola virus. If the person is completely treated and cured with Ebola be very careful about sexual partners and sexual practices safe sex is essential till the semen tests negative for Ebola virus.

Semen, Blood, vomit and feces are largely behind the rapid spread of the disease. Each one of us has to be cautious so that we directly don’t come in contact with Ebola virus. Even breast feeding women treated or cured with Ebola must not feed your baby as breast milk also carries the virus for 3 months
