Triggering factors for heart diseases.

Smoking: Formation of plaques in the arteries!!
  • Harmful chemicals present in the tobacco smoke leads to formation of plaques in the arteries hampering the blood supply throughout the body.
Junk food: Rich in calories & fat with low nutrients!!
  • Rich in calories, fat, salt, refined carbohydrates and low in nutrients. The risk goes up to 50 percent if you eat fast food two to three times

Diabetes: Damages nerves & blood vessels!!
  • In Diabetes blood glucose (sugar) level is increased. Normally, the body breaks down food into glucose and carries it to cells throughout the body.
  • The cells use a hormone called insulin to turn the glucose into energy. High blood glucose levels damage nerves and blood vessels, leading to complications such as heart disease and stroke, the leading causes of death among people with diabetes.
Obesity: Excess of fat affects blood lipid levels!!
  • There are 400 million adults worldwide who are obese and one billion who are overweight. If you are overweight you may develop hypertension, diabetes and atherosclerosis.  These conditions will put you at high risk of cardiovascular disease.
  • This fat affects your blood pressure; your blood lipid levels and interferes with your ability to use insulin effectively.  You use insulin to process glucose derived from food, our body's primary fuel. If you cannot use insulin properly you may develop diabetes, a risk factor of cardiovascular disease.
Long working hours: Increases stress level both at mental as well as at physical levels!!
  • Those who works for more than 80 hours a week there are 94% of risk of coronary heart disease in them. Working for long time increases stress level both mental as well as physical.
